Pickled Egg Recipes add Pizazz to your Meals

Pickled egg recipes can be fun to prepare and eat.

Onion Flavored

Ingredients:

2 dozen pastured poultry eggs
1/2 Qt. vinegar
1 1/2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 onion

Preparation:

Boil pastured poultry eggs hard for 7 minutes. Shell the eggs. Put in jars and pour the ingredients over them. Add sliced onion on top.

Set for 5 or more days.



Peppercorn Delight

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp peppercorns
1 onion, sliced
1 dozen pastured poultry eggs

Preparation:

Boil water, vinegar, salt and peppercorns together for about 1 minute. Pour over peeled hard boiled eggs in quart jars. Add sliced onion on top. Cover with canning lids and bands.

Let set overnight in refrigerator.
