Ever Tried Oven Baked Steak with Stuffing?

Of all the ways to cook steak, try this one. An oven baked steak with stuffing adds flourish and is easy to prepare. Some steaks turn our "rubbery" and tough, but not this baked steak recipe. An oven cooked steak is tender and juicy.

Baked Steak with Stuffing

Ingredients:

2 pounds round steak, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
2 cups dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated onion
1 teaspoon sage
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 egg, beaten

Procedure:

Season steak with salt and pepper. (Use grasfed beef if you can get it. The health benefits of omega 3 and CLA found in grassfed meat is well-known.) Combine all remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl to create stuffing. Spread the stuffing evenly over the steak. Roll up the steak as you would a jelly roll and tie with a string. Set the roll on a rack in a roaster. Do not cover. Place roaster in oven and cook about 45 minutes at 350 F. Serves 6.

We all know it's good to eat as close to nature as possible. Natural grassfed meat contains 60% more omega 3's than conventional (corn-fed) beef. As you may know, omega 3 is essential for human health and cannot be manufactured by the body. It must be eaten in foods or taken in supplements. If you or anyone close to you isn't getting sufficient omega 3 in his or her diet, the info at Omega 3 Food may prove helpful.
