Easy Pork Chop Recipe

4 grassfed pork chops (Use regular pork chops if you can't find grassfed)
salt and pepper
olive oil

Trim any excess fat from chops. Heat skillet or broiler pan to medium. Grassfed chops are lean so brush oil on chops and place chops in pan. Brown thoroughly on both sides. Cover pan. Turn heat to low and cook about 30-35 minutes or until all pink is gone from center of chops.

Season and serve.

Easy Pork Chop Recipe with Creamy Cheese Grits

Ingredients:

4 lean pork chops 3-4 oz each
3 cups water
3/4 cup quick-cooking grits
2 teaspoons butter
4 ounces cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon pepper, preferably white

Procedure:

Use a large broiler pan or skillet to brown the pork chops over medium heat. Turn once to brown both sides. With pan uncovered, continue cooking the chops. Turn occasionally. 3/4 inch chops will cook in about 5-9 minutes, 1 inch chops a little longer. Cook until all pink is gone from center of chops, but don't overcook so as to destroy the nutrients.

In a heavy saucepan, bring the water to a rapid boil. Stir n the grits gradually and cook. Stir continuously until grits become creamy and thick. Remove from heat and stir in butter and cream cheese. Add pepper and serve. Makes enough for 4 people.
