Recipes with Rice and Egg



Make these recipes with rice and egg using pastured poultry eggs.

Ingredients:

3 pastured poultry eggs
2 onions
1 tsp ginger
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup beans of your choice
3 cups rice
1 tsp pepper
dash of salt
2 generous Tbsp sugar

Sequence:

Lightly oil a pan. Use coconut oil if possible. Saute onions with ginger. Add half-boiled carrots and beans. Add pepper, pastured poultry eggs, boiled rice, salt and sugar. Mix well. Cook until the eggs seem just right.

Garnish with parsley or spring onions. Serves 4.



Rice, Egg and Bacon Recipe



Ingredients:

3 cups cooked rice
4 pastured poultry eggs
5 slices bacon, all diced up
3 green onions, diced
5 Tbps oil, preferably coconut
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

In a large skillet fry bacon pieces until crisp. Drain and set aside.

Beat pastured poultry eggs in a cup, then scramble the eggs in the skillet. Remove scrambled eggs from the skillet and set aside.

Pour remaining oil and cooked rice into a pan. Heat and stir. Add eggs, bacon, onions and salt and pepper. Stir and cook for a minute or so.

This rice and egg recipe serves 4.
