Congratulations, You have Found Delightful Recipes for Pork Loin Roast

Now the key question. Was the meat for these recipes for pork loin roasts raised on pasture or in confinement?

If pasture raised, you have a healthy piece of meat. If confinement raised, the roast still has nutritional value and taste, but less than the former. Pasture raised meat will be higher in beta-carotene and vitamins E, A and D. Also, if calories are a concern note this: Meat from grain-fed (that is confinement raised) animals has approximately twice the amount of fat as meat from pasture raised animals.

The quandary is how to locate pasture raised pork. Nearly 100% of pork sold in supermarkets was raised in a confinement operation. Not even the best recipes for pork loin roast can change the nature of the meat. Our best bet? Find a local farmer or farmer's market and purchase grassfed meat.
