Winsome! Easy Hamburger Steak Recipes Can't Be Simpler

Are you ever intimidated by someone else's cooking? A mother-in-law? Another woman? Easy hamburger steak recipes could give you the reputation as the finest cook in the land! Try one or both methods--either fry or broil--you'll be cooking perfect steak every time.

Ingredients:

1 egg, beaten (grassfed is best)
2 Tablespoons milk (water may be substituted)
1 slice bread, pulled or chopped into small cubes
2 Tablespoons chopped onion
1 Tablespoon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef, preferably grassfed
1 sliced tomato
4 hamburger buns

Procedure:

Combine milk and beaten egg in a medium-large mixing bowl. Tear one slice bread into small cubes. Add bread cubes, chopped onion, mustard, salt and pepper into egg mixture. Add meat and mix thoroughly.

Mold meat into patties about 3/4 inch thick.

For cooking perfect steak choose either method--fry or broil.

Here's how to fry--Place the steak patties into heavy skillet or frying pan and cook on medium heat. Turn once. Cook until almost no pink remains in center of steak for medium doneness.

Here's how to broil a steak. Turn oven on to broil. Place patties onto rack in a broiler pan. Broil for about 15 minutes or until only the slightest pink remains, turning once.

With either method, serve the hamburger steaks on pre-heated buns. The sliced tomato adds color and the perfect flourish.
