Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe Gives Your Taste Buds a Treat. Grandma made a buttermilk pancake recipe just about like this one. She used grassfed milk and eggs too! Ever yearn for the old time taste?

Ingredients:

1-1/2 cup quick oatmeal
2 cups buttermilk, preferably grassfed
2 eggs, preferably grassfed
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Procedure:

Mix oatmeal and buttermilk in a medium sized mixing bowl. Let stand for 3-5 minutes or so. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Stir, then mix in all remaining ingredients. Bake on hot griddle. Turn when cakes show bubbles on top.

Serves four.

With this simple recipe you can make pancakes from scratch. This buttermilk recipe tastes so lip-smackin' good you just might start a family legacy! Believe it or not, your grand kids might say," Give me some pancakes like Grandma used to make!"
